YamatoPB-200 Digital Hands Free 12 Lb. Pizza Scale

At half the price of the better known scales, this is a winner. It's easy to use with the foot pedal and my pizza makers got used to it in no time. The money I saved in cheese has already paid for the scale,

This scale is awesome, works great at my pizzeria. Only reason I didn't give it five star is that the first one quit working because of the foot pedal and some abuse. The second is working great and we are using the foot pedal on the make line now, to ensure minimal employee abuse. This is probably the best long term solution.I have purchased some Escali scales in the past for twice the price and they failed twice as quickly. Won't get them again.

Pizzas

The picture shown for this scale is the scale I wish we had ordered. We used these scales for years before they swapped to the newer version that has a hand waving motion sensor. We found this scale to be inaccurate for weighing cheese between it resetting itself through the motion sensor OR its slower response time for zeroing the scale. When this scale arrived (and it wasn't the older version as advertised in photo) we didn't even open and try to use it. It's base (the scale you set food on) connects to the screen via a phone-line type wire (but smaller) and is cheaply produced as the one scale of these we did use broke 6 inches from the scale base where the phone-like wire connects after just over a year of use.

Bought two, one Sept 2012 and another in November 2012 to replace worn out Yamato and Edlund pizza scales that were both about 10 years old. I found I had to return those old scales for service every couple years so it was time to replace them. Very happy so far with the new scales and with Wasserstrom's pricing and customer service.

Love it! Only scale we like for weighing out cheese for our pizza!!

I have gone through five of these scales. They work great in the beginning but all of mine have stopped working due to wire failure at the point where the wires enter the base of the scale.

Internal parts are very cheap and fail. Simple fix if they would just use 50 cents parts instead of the lowest grade wiring. Foot pedal connection in the scale fail in less than 3 weeks.
