If a lion knows his own strength then no one can control him...same for a Black Man. It's important to be to be able to offer that kind of pride representing pieces in my shop. I specialty is offering original and one of a kind items at modest prices. And by creating unique pieces like this, I'm able to do that. For the most part I kept the original idea for the medallions except I added this gold Lion's head. I made the Lion's head myself using a Resin technique. I thought that using 1 string of chord for the necklace left the whole piece looking cheap and unfinished, so I hand braided 3 chords to give the piece a stronger affect.
