These come in a beautiful box. Would make a great gift. The backs are very tiny and can be difficult to get on.But the biggest disappointment is that the posts are too long. Upset that I had to return them.

I bought these to wear in my second hole. I wanted something I could put in and leave in for about 2 to 3 months. I just got them yesterday but they are the most comfortable thing to sleep in ever! I've been wearing earrings in my second hole for a few months at a time (I change them up when I get too bored) now for about 20 years. I usually wear a pair of square shaped diamond stud earrings. I thought they were okay for sleeping, but I have to hang my head a little off my pillow or I feel them and they are uncomfortable. I slept in these last night (I got 6mm yellow gold) and they are so incredibly comfortable I don't even know they are they. They are light weight and don't poke me anywhere even with my head flat against the pillow! I got the 6mm because I wanted them to show up but I was nervous they might be too big to sleep in, but they are perfect! I'm in my 40's and I didn't have a hard time with the screw backs. I like that they stop turning when they are screwed in all the way. Now I want them in white gold!

I have purchased gold ball screw back earrings before and these earrings are equal to the quality of my other earrings. People have complained in other reviews that they are hard to screw in the backs The secret is to screw the earring instead of screwing the backs. The posts are delicate but not any thinner then other earrings ive purchased. Just be careful and dont force them.I'm very happy with the earrings. They're definitely gold. I have allergic reactions to anything else. And they look good. I'm very pleased with them.

I have had these on since I bought them last year. No signs or wear and tear.The post are long. To prevent it from sticking out I added a rubber/silicone earring back. I still use the backing this came with because I don't like an exposed post that pokes at my neck.

These earrings are perfect. I wanted a pair of gold studs that screwed on a few years ago so I bought my first pair. I recently lost one of the backs after having to take my earrings off for an X-ray. The brand I bought back then was no longer available on amazon.com so I ordered these. I like this pair better AND they sell backs in case I lose one again. The stem on this pair is shorter as well which is another big plus. Highly recommended.

Tiny tiny tiny. I guess I should have looked into what the size actually looked like. I looked at reviews and they seemed ok. But these are so small. And u can barely get the backs on they are so tiny as well. And I can’t tell if i have them screwed on enough. So they may or may not fall off. The quality is good though and they don’t hurt my ears. I have these in a second hole so it works ok and I will not return. If this was for a main earring I would return

Over half of the length of the post is grooved/twisted to accommodate the screw-on backing but the backing itself is only a few mm long therefore half of the portion of the post that goes through your piercing is effectively serrated. Any movement at all will act as a saw inside the tissue. Also, these fine ridges are more prone to accumulating sebum, bacteria, and debris. I have no doubts that they are genuine gold, but I would heavily discourage wearing these in any piercing newer than 1.5 years.

Lovely earrings but ..... I think I have normal thickness ear lobes but when the backs are screwed on as tight as they will go, the earrings hang forward and look like they are about to drop off of my ear.

I was searching for a pair of earrings that I could wear every day.These are them! They are beautiful, simple to put on, secure, comfortable enough to sleep in, and the fact that they're 14K gold means I can shower with them, too. I've slept with them every night since I got them several weeks ago, and my usually sensitive ears (which turn bright red and swell with exposure to any non-precious metal) have had no sensitive reaction to this product whatsoever, leading me to believe they are indeed 14K gold. Other reviewers complain about the fastening being too small? I didn't find the earrings difficult to put on at all (I got the 4mm size), and the fastener is the right size without being uncomfortable to sleep in. They are secure - you don't have to worry about an earring ever falling out. In LOVE with this purchase and would easily buy this as an affordable but beautiful gift for a friend - it comes in a lovely gift box. My only complaint is that there is no certificate of authenticity to showcase the fact that these are indeed 14K gold - they are embossed - but when giving as a gift, you'd want to draw the recipients' attention to the fact that they are made of gold without verbally telling them - a certificate of authenticity would help with this.

I purchase these items as a gift for myself. I ordered the 5mm size. The earrings are lovely, as they shimmer and shine and the post appears strong. There are some other minor issues (not tight fitting on ear) but that was fixed with a clear backing. The major issue with this product is that it appears fake or gold plated. I am highly allergic to most metals. I cannot wear any costume jewellery on any part of my body. Presently, I have on several 10k, 14k, and 18k bangles with no issue. These earrings have caused my ear to be swollen, scratchy, and puss filled. This only happens when I wear fake jewellery. The pain and itching began within a couple of hours of inserting into ear. Today is day two of wearing and there has been no improvement. The earrings are also not stamped as 14K as advertised, which lead me to believe they are fake. I have reached out to the seller and am awaiting a response.I would not recomment this product. If I wanted fake jewellery, I would have purchased it from ardene's.

I got the 3mm ones. They are super petite but that is exactly what I wanted for my second piercing. It’s tiny but it feels sturdy not flimsy. The screw backs make sure I never stab my head or my s.o. while sleeping. I have the ones with the cz as well and I prefer these tbh. Really happy I got them.Edit: lost an earring back. I took them off to shower and because there is so little threading for the screw the backing got lost during my blow dry. I’m repurchasing though because I do love them. Just be careful when screwing in the backs.

I bought these earrings for a baby girl. They are way smaller then announced (yes, I've measured it). I was expecting a 3mm sphere and I got a 2mm one. My concern is that they will be pierced to her ears and may pass throughout the hole. I could have bought a bigger one, it would not have been a problem. The quality is good, but not true to size.
