Good Night Chicago (Good Night Our World)

Great book! I was away for a professional trip to Chicago. My 4-year old son was having a hard time with me being gone for the first time. Saw this book in Chicago and found it cheaper on amazon. Wayyy cheaper. Sent it to him for Daddy to read. He loved it. Definitely helped him get through my trip. As for the content of the book, it’s a great book. Highly recommend.

Bought this for a baby shower gift to give to our son and daughter-in-law. They live in Wisconsin (she's from there) and I could see our son's face light up as soon as they unwrapped it. Sweet home Chicago!

We gave as a gift to build the bookshelf for a baby shower. We lived in Chicago and my cousin’s family is in Florida. Thought it was a cute way to have the little one learn about somewhere new.

Had to get this book to add to our Good Night Our World collection. Our daughter was born in Chicago, where we lived downtown a block from Navy Pier. We moved shortly after her birth, so my wife and I thought it was a great book to be able to read to her about the many things we did, and places we visited, while our daughter was "along for the ride". Great pictures, colors, "hidden" balloons and mice for "I Spy", features most of the Chicago landmarks/places that are 'must see' in Chicago. Great city, great book.

I bought this book for my daughter before she was born. We have been reading it together for over a year now, and she still loves it. I used to live in Chicago, and I think this book gets all of the highlights of the city. It's fun to look at it with her and then share my own stories of the city with her. I have also bought this book as a gift for friends in Chicago. Great buy!

This is a wonderful book that we have received and given as gifts. It highlights Chicago landmarks for those who are moving away or just want a reminder of a wonderful trip! Would highly recommend!

Cute book that beginning readers can follow along with at bedtime. The kids get excited about knowing and having been to some of the places in the book. That being said it definitely covers the most touristy places in the entire city, seriously I think every museum got its own page. I understand these are mainly sold to people who have traveled and not live here, as we have many books from places we have gone. I think that omitting the L trains and listing a cook making deep dish, when the true food of Chicago is beefs was a mistake. Good book for the kids, but better title would have been Good Night Lake Shore Drive.

We LOVE these books! They are the souvenirs from all our travels for our boy. Great story, bright pictures, and sometimes we use them as a guide on things to do in an unfamiliar state.
