Scarlet Darkness Oktoberfest Carnival Costumes 3 Piece German Dirndl Dress

I am very happy with this purchase. Great quality . It fit well overall and it looks great. I’m 5’4”/175lbs and ordered an XL

I got a size 10 but the dress came as a size M. It's a little snug and although I could probably get away with it, I'm returning to get a bigger size. The quality is pretty good and the ribbon holders are actually metal. Very nice dress.

This dress was cute, but too small! These runs extremely small and without elastic there is no give to it. I wear an XL and had to purchase a 3X and not all of them have 3X. The 3X size was the first size on the ones that have it. Don’t let size stop you because they are cute dresses! We are going to Munich and should fit in well.

Bust: 44 Waist 37 and I wear a US size 12 in many of my dresses, Size L/M Shirt and Size 12 jeans. DO NOT go by the US size chart they have, ONLY go by your body measurements!! The fit is a bit loose, but if you want to be comfortable and move easily, it’s great. The white top is a bit of an awkward fit. The fabric in the dress is stiff even after a wash, but it’s a great dress compared to most of the costumes out there which I’ve purchased. The embroidery is very pretty as well as the ribbon holders on the bodice. I really LOVE the piping. It’s a nice detail. I switched out the red ribbon for a blue one to add more color. The dress would also look great with a petticoat. Im going to make a pattern with this dress and see some authentic looking Dirndls. This is a nice purchase for the price, quality and fit.

I am 5’7” bust 42” waist 39” and hips 48”I order an XXL and the fit is great. Not too tight or too loose. I have very long legs and the Length comes just barely to my knee.It is well made. Cotton is a little stiff and it will need ironing. I think it would soften with washing but would worry about shrinkage being 100% cotton.

We purchased two versions of this Drindl, both of which are excellent values for the price.One thing particularly nice about the black/red version is the lovely embroidered apron.The blue dirndl with coral-colored apron ("color-1") is such a lovely floral pattern!Both: the hooks and ribbons are nice and the side zippers make it much easier to get into and out of. The neckline "ribbons" and the piping are sewn well. The blouse is a very nice bonus, especially considering the low cost.The fabrics aren't "heavyweight" so they're perfect for warmer fall days, but it aren't so lightweight as to be "see-through" either. Adding a petticoat would be a nice touch for those wanting a fuller look.I disagree with the reviews that say these don't fit "bustier" women! We found the sizing to be just as indicated for the dress (the blouse may be a different story but it's well-hidden anyway), and rather flattering as well. Perhaps there's just a bit of difference in the individually-sewn dresses? Either way, it's worth the risk to try this brand. After all, the price is very reasonable for all three pieces.Overall, a nice option at a good price, especially for infrequent use (like attending Oktoberfest each year).

Going to stuttgart for Octoberfest. Going to wear this outfit. Love the quality & value.

It did not come with 3 pieces. It only came in with the dress itself and nothing else. Very dissapointing.

Good fit, size is accurate and quality is ok.
